Andrea began drawing at the age of five. Her work draws from film and television and often combines fictional situations merged with her own personal memories. With her favorite television shows being Full House and The Brady Bunch, Andrea makes frequent references to these wholesome pop cultural icons, populating the page with groups of people based on TV characters. Her attention to detail is exhaustive, often drawing on both sides of the paper to note the full physical appearance of her figures from the front, back, and sides. Focusing especially on wardrobe, every last detail is accounted for either in text or illustration. Andrea’s most recent drawings appear like a stream of consciousness—snippets of conversation, mathematical equations, animals and people—all blending together in an orderly chaos defined by her pen.
