Creative Growth is pleased to present the work of Dan Miller and Ron Veasey in this year’s online edition of NADA Miami, the annual flagship art fair of the New Art Dealers Alliance.

Dan Miller’s paintings and drawings have been exhibited internationally, including at the Venice Biennale in 2017. Dan Miller’s artwork reflects his perceptions. Words and images are repeatedly overdrawn, creating ink-layered masses that hover on the page to the point of obliteration and destruction of the ground. Miller’s process transforms text into graphic elements, and employs an abstract visual language that is used as a tool for inquiry and expression.

Ron Veasey’s presentation belongs to a series of paintings that drew inspiration from the catalogue of Figures & Fictions: Contemporary South African Photography, a 2011 exhibition at the Victoria & Albert Museum in London. Recontextualizing the work of photographers such as Zanele Muholi, Veasey’s portraits distill the essential elements of form and expression, and demonstrate powerfully astute insight.
