Creative Growth + method | Limited Edition Products Back by Popular Demand

From Method Products—a long time champion of leveraging creativity as a powerful agent of change—is proud to announce the encore of its premier limited-edition collection in partnership with Creative Growth, an Oakland-based nonprofit art center that serves adults with disabilities. The Target-exclusive collection was a smashing success in its first run, finding a home in over a million households nationwide and Method is thrilled to share the amazing work and stories of the Creative Growth artists with even more individuals. Method's donation for the collection will support materials, instruction and facilities upgrades for the Creative Growth studio to ensure that this community of artists with disabilities can continue to inspire, thrive and enrich the lives it impacts.

Founded on the belief that art should be accessible to all, Creative Growth provides a nurturing space for artistic development and expression. This curated collaboration features the impeccable work of four Creative Growth artists paired with four fragrances inspired by the artists' work, including palm garden, jasmine lily, autumn redwood and vanilla sky. The encore collection is again available exclusively at Target for $3.49 each from now through the end of the year.

"At method, we truly view cleaning as an act of creative expression," said Doug Piwinski, CMO of People Against Dirty. "The success of the Creative Growth collaboration thrills us but does not surprise us—we knew their talent and their mission would captivate anyone that came across it. We're proud to bring the collection back to shelves so even more people around the world can access Creative Growth's art and stories."

The commissioned Creative Growth artists and their work include:

  • Aurie Ramireza delicately rendered watercolor + ink cloud pattern evokes a fabulous fantasy world.

  • Allan Lofberg an introspective, abstract pattern rendered in a sophisticated, bold palette.

  • Maureen Clay a beautifully intricate pointillist pattern in a dense blossom of rainbow hues.

  • Barry Regan carefully crafted organic circles are layered over a subtle texture of lush watercolors.

"Our mission is to understand how everyone is a part of the creative community," said Tom di Maria, director of Creative Growth. "Our partnership with method is about valuing how our artists can be seen as contemporary designers. We're thrilled to see their work make its way into even more homes around the country through this special collection, and look forward to the support that will help us show how art can enrich the everyday experience of people."
