Bruce Howell’s work recalls the experience of looking into a kaleidoscope. With bright colors and psychedelic repetition, Howell creates melodic abstractions that draw on the full spectrum of the rainbow. Through animals, people, and organic forms, Howell depicts a colorful and rhythmic harmony that is an essential component to nature itself. Primary and complimentary colors contrast each other as each form fits together precisely like a puzzle, offering the viewer a deeper study into flattened perspectives and the multiplicity of shapes.
