This September, Creative Growth Art Center takes center stage at VOLTA New York 2024, showcasing the extraordinary talent of our artists among a diverse and international lineup. From September 4th to 8th, the art world will converge at VOLTA, a fair renowned for its focus on emerging voices and innovative narratives. This year, Creative Growth artists are proud to be part of this vibrant community, bringing their unique perspectives to the global stage.
At VOLTA, you’ll encounter a curated selection of works that reflect Creative Growth’s commitment to fostering artistic expression among people with developmental disabilities. Each piece tells a story of creativity unbounded by convention, offering viewers a glimpse into the distinctive vision that our artists bring to life through their work.
This year's exhibition is particularly special as it coincides with Creative Growth’s 50th anniversary—a milestone that celebrates half a century of breaking barriers and redefining what art can be. To mark this occasion, we’re also spotlighting pieces from our Beyond Trend Fashion Program, including one-of-a-kind leather accessories created in partnership with Clare V. These fashion-forward items, available for purchase, seamlessly blend high design with the innovative spirit of our artists.
VOLTA New York 2024, led by Artistic Director Lee Cavaliere, is more than just an art fair; it’s a platform for collaboration, community, and cultural discourse.
