Creative Growth Studio has Reopened!

Creative Growth is thrilled to welcome over 140 artists back to the Studio for in-person programs with expanded offerings, COVID-safe protocols, a brand new parklet, in-person outdoor pods, and a Gallery pod to prepare for upcoming exhibitions. In addition, Creative Growth will continue its virtual programming, home art supply deliveries, and one-on-one support, to ensure everyone has access to resources that empower them to pursue their creativity. Thank you to everyone that is helping write the next chapter in Creative Growth’s story.

+ Is Creative Growth open to visitors?

The Creative Growth Gallery is open by appointment. You can schedule an appointment by emailing gallery@creativegrowth.org. The Creative Growth Studio remains closed to visitors until further notice.

+ What’s your mask policy for visitors?

Face masks or other coverings over the nose and mouth are required at all times.

+ Will I need to show proof that I’m vaccinated?

No, however we ask you to refrain from visiting the Gallery if you are feeling unwell or have any COVID-19 symptoms. We will help you to reschedule your appointment.

+ What other COVID-19 safety protocols are in place for visitors?

We ask visitors to maintain a minimum six-foot distance from artists, staff members, and other visitors who are not traveling with you. Hand sanitizer must be applied upon entering the Gallery. Please do not shake hands or engage in any unnecessary physical contact. Unfortunately, restrooms are not open to the public.

+ What are your COVID-19 safety protocols for staff and artists?

Wearing face coverings and social distancing of a minimum six-foot distance is enforced at all times. Frequent hand washing is strongly encouraged, and hand sanitizer is readily available at all entrances, exits, and in several locations throughout the building. Each artist will have their own dedicated art supplies, which will not be used by other artists. In all of these areas, equipment, supplies, and shared surfaces will be disinfected before and after each use.

+ Are Creative Growth artists ready to work in person again?

In May, Creative Growth surveyed artists asking them about how comfortable they are returning to site, their ability to tolerate wearing a mask and comply with social distancing, access to transportation, etc. Almost two-thirds of the artists have told us they are ready and excited to return to the Studio!

+ Have Creative Growth staff and artists received training around COVID-19 safety protocols?

Staff have participated in two in-depth COVID-19 training sessions, covering topics such as social distancing, proper mask wearing, etc. and conducted in-person training for staff in safety protocols and on-site policy and practices before reopening.

Artists have been receiving COVID training and reminders in each Zoom class for several months. Before or during their first in-person session with Creative Growth staff, artists receive additional, more in-depth in-person training.

+ Will Creative Growth continue virtual programming for artists?

In addition to in-person programming, Creative Growth will continue creating art together through online programs, home art supply deliveries, and one-on-one support for the foreseeable future.
