Organized in collaboration with independent curator Patricia Watts, the Marin Community Foundation hosts Breaking Barriers: Bay Area Artists with Disabilities, a large scale exhibition featuring approximately 130 artworks from six Bay Area arts programs serving artists with disabilities. Creative Growth Art Center joins Becoming Independent in Santa Rosa, Brain Injury Network in Larkspur, Creativity Explored in San Francisco, NIAD Art Center in Richmond, and The Cedars of Marin in Ross in this comprehensive look at artists whose talent clearly challenges, if not surpasses, the tired conventions dictated by the contemporary art world.
Featuring Creative Growth artists Barry Regan, Carlos Perez, Dan Miller, Kerry Damianakes, Merritt Wallace, and William Scott.
