December 7, 2012 - January 4, 2013 Creative Growth Art Center is pleased to announce its upcoming exhibition, FLICK. The Oakland center for artists with disabilities most anticipated, line-around-the-block-event of the year takes on a cinematic perspective, with artwork by over one hundred artists, inspired by cult classics and the gleaming lights of Hollywood.
Creative Growth rolls out the red carpet this Holiday season and will fill the studio and gallery with artwork featuring favorite movie genres and celebrity starlets. With the debut of new short films from the in-house Video Production Workshop, limited edition goods, and original artwork. All purchases give back to Creative Growth programs.
Including textiles, furniture, ceramics, rugs, mosaics, wood, drawings and paintings, prints and more. New merchandise including inspired gift items: tea towels, a limited edition 2013 artwork calendar, new apparel and tote bags, greeting cards, art books, and much more!
