December 2, 2016 – January 12, 2017 When was the last time you truly reveled in something - the sight of a shimmering light, the sound of a soft carol, the taste of a home-cooked meal? This year, Creative Growth invites you to come relish in the Holidays with Revel, an indulgent excuse to take pleasure in everything that life has to offer! Let your mouth water at the sight of Larry Randolph’s Danishes; feel the weightlessness of swimming in George Wilson’s floating figure; dance with abandon like Rosena Finister’s “ordinary people swinging with the movie stars”; or bask in the sunlight with Gerone Spruill’s characters.
This annual event brings you incredible Studio sale finds and original artwork from over 100 artists! Take home one-of-a-kind textiles and customized furniture, ceramics, rugs, mosaics, wood, drawings and paintings, prints and more. Look for limited edition artist-inspired gift items: custom Baggu canvas tote bags with art by Ray Vickers, eye-catching socks by artist Jordan King, a new set of Aurie Ramirez glass tumblers to savor your favorite beverage, and a fresh line of apparel with designs by John Mullins and Lulu Sotelo.
This year, you’ll also find limited edition prints by Ed Walters, the first of a guest-curated print series, selected by Park Life’s Jamie Alexander. Plus, this holiday season, don’t forget to let your loved ones know you care with brand new holiday cards featuring artwork by Dan Miller and William Tyler!
Each purchase made gives back to artists with disabilities and their Oakland-based studio program, so come revel in the sweetness of music or the simple joy of being with loved ones at our annual Holiday show and Studio sale!
