Initially presented at the Brooklyn Museum, New York, Bound and Unbound is the first solo museum survey of artist Judith Scott (1943–2005), whose career spanned just seventeen years. Born in Columbus, OH, with Down syndrome, Scott was introduced to art making at Creative Growth, where she produced a remarkable body of mixed media sculpture. Her powerful, complex forms reveal a delicate and tactile sensibility alongside a deeply considered use of color. Opening Reception Mar 10, 2016 6:00 pm
