Creative Growth Magazine: Issue 4, guest edited by artist Dinah Shapiro, features spreads dedicated to the climate, animals, the future of the planet, and a deep dive into Oakland’s own Lake Merritt. Including 184 full-color pages with a special double-sided fold-out map by William Scott that’s suitable for framing, this issue is our most elaborate yet. The issue also features a glimpse into the complex imaginary world created by Meyshe Shapiro-Nygren, excerpts from the private journal of Carrie Oyama, and an intimate look at how Deaf-blind artist Theresa Lambert creates her work. Creative Growth Magazine is an annual periodical created in the Creative Growth Studio by artists, staff, and volunteers. Retailers interested in carrying the magazine, please contact magazine@creativegrowth.org.
