San Francisco, CA. June 2023 - The San Francisco Art Book Fair (SFABF) is pleased to announce its sixth year at Minnesota Street Project. Open July 14 through July 16, 2023, with a preview the evening of Thursday, July 13th from 6pm-10pm, SFABF is free and open to the public. In addition to over 160 exhibitors, the preview will feature music from local DJs Jeremy Castillo (Bar Part Time), Golden Gram and Daring Ear (Outer Sounds), food trucks and a natural wine bar by Ruby Wine including refreshments by Bardos Cider. SFABF is an annual multi-day exhibition and celebration of printed material from independent publishers, artists, designers, collectors, and enthusiasts from around the world. Launched in 2016 as a joint collaboration between Colpa Press, Minnesota Street Project, and Park Life, the fair’s popularity has grown steadily. As of 2022, the SFABF has welcomed more than 60,000 visitors from the Bay Area and beyond. The fair continues to expand its horizons, offering more in-depth programming related to art publishing at three different on-site venues, new exhibitors, and exciting fundraising editions from Bay Area artists. This year, we are happy to announce that the SFABF is being presented by the Minnesota Street Project Foundation.
Creative Growth Art Center will be on site with a plethora of CGAC publications available for purchase along with a selection of merchandise and framed art. A featured highlight will be Alice Wong’s just released book “Painting Photographs.” You can learn more here.
